A couple of AgVet Chemical User courses are being held in the region. Please see the following information for dates, times and locations.
ROSEDALE – a course will be held on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st April. This course provides the required training for many Industry Quality Assurance Programs and is necessary to apply for the Victorian Agricultural Chemical Users Permit (ACUP). AgVet Levell III is nationally recognised training and takes place through a Registered Training Organisation. Participants details go onto a national data base.
The cost will be $350 GST inclusive per participant which includes the work book manual and registration with AusChem. On successful completion, participants will be eligible to apply to the Department of Environment Land Water & People (DELWP) for registration for an (ACUP).
A 1080 User Course will be held on Friday 22nd April.In order to purchase and use 1080 pest animal bait products, users are required to complete this course and be appropriately authorised. Upon successful completion of this course, participants are eligible to obtain a 1080 endorsement to an Agricultural Chemical User Permit (ACUP) issued under the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Control of Use Act 1992. Successful completion of this course will qualify you as ‘an authorised person’ and permit you to purchase and use 1080 pest animal bait products in Victoria. Course Cost: $195.00 GST Inclusive.

CANN RIVER – A full AgVet Chemical Course (previously “Farm Chemical Users Course”) will be run at “Department of Environment, Land, Water & Planning “. Cann River on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th May 2016.
This will be followed by 1080 ACUP endorsement on Friday 13th May 2016.
