The East Gippsland Conservation Management Network invites volunteers to come along and learn fundamental citizen science skills.
This introductory workshop will build skills in using maps and GPS units to find and document environmental values and other points of interest to aid in their conservation.
RSVP: By 14th of August to Tom on 0417 557 114 or firstname.lastname@example.org
(The abbey is a 500m walk right from the ferry along the foreshore, so cars can be parked in Paynesville to avoid paying for the ferry if desired).
If possible, please bring a portable computer, GPS unit and compass if you have them – limited other units will be available on the day. All other materials supplied.
