Friends of Upper Nicholson Catchment Inc. love a little citizen science and we especially love our local population of Lyrebirds. To celebrate these things, we’ve invited Jan Incoll and Alex Maisley from the Sherbrooke Lyrebird Study Group (SLSG) to lunch and we’d love you to come too!
The SLSG formed in the 1950’s to protect and observe the Superb Lyrebirds of Sherbrooke Forest in the Dandenong Ranges. Jan and Alex will be sharing stories from their group as well as advice about monitoring and protecting Lyrebird populations that we can use in East Gippy, all over a casual bite to eat with friends.
The Lyre’s Lunch kicks off at 12.30 on Saturday 6th October at the Clifton Creek Hall. Numbers are limited so please rsvp by following this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2GKTHQ5 to avoid disappointment.
