formed in 1995 and the group area covers 8,333 hectares.
This area encompasses and is bound by Eagle Point Road in the north, Paynesville Road in the east, Wattle Point Road / Crawfords Road in the south and Centre Goon Nure Road in the west.
The group has a membership base of 40 families. The main focus of the Group is restoring the Forge Creek Reserve via revegetation and weed control. The Group also form part of the Red Gum Plains and Coastal Hinterland Weeds Committee, to combat African Lovegrass.
This Group also has strong partnerships with their neighbouring Landcare Group’s, East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority and Gippsland Plains Conservation Management Network.
