Position Scope
The focus of the position will be the effective management and delivery of a project funded by the Federal Government’s Caring for Our Country program.
Project name: Protecting the Best – Reducing the impacts of weeds of national significance – Serrated Tussock in the Forge Creek district.
Hours of Work: The employment contract is fixed term with employment starting on the 3rd December 2012 and concluding on 28th June 2013, with a total of 450 hours worked (approx. 15 per week).
The ideal person would have well developed plant and weed identification skills, understanding of weed management, ability to use GPS and GIS mapping programs, good written and verbal communications, IT skills and community capacity building abilities.
